Aktualisasi Peran Guru Aqidah Akhlak Dalam Membina Dampak Media Sosial dan Kesejahteraan Digital Siswa di MAN 4 Kediri

Abstract

This research is motivated by analyzing the actualization of the role of aqidah akhlaq teachers in fostering the impact of social media and digital wellbeing in schools. With the increasing use of social media among students, there are various impacts that affect students' social and academic development. This is what makes researchers interested in conducting research with the title actualization of the role of akhlaq teachers in fostering the impact of social media and digital well-being of students at MAN 4 Kediri.  This study aims to 1) find out the use of social media for MAN 4 Kediri students. 2) Knowing the negative impact of using social media on MAN 4 Kediri students. 3) Knowing the Role of Akidah Akhlaq Teachers in Fostering the Negative Impact of Social Media Use of MAN 4 Kediri Students. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach, involving in-depth interviews and observations at MAN 4 Kediri. The data sources in this study are: 1) primary data, namely one akidah akhlak teacher. 2) secondary data in this study, namely: books, internet, documents, counseling teachers and students. The data validation technique used by researchers is source triangulation. Data analysis is done by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions. The results of the research found by researchers show that 1) The use of social media in MAN 4 Kediri students is that they use social media as a means of entertainment. Students open mainstream social media such as tiktok instagram and online games. 2) The negative impact of using social media on students at MAN 4 Kediri is that they easily feel lazy to do activities when they open social media for too long and come late to school because at night they stay up late to play online games. 3) Teacher guidance on the negative impact of using social media is to give an appeal to students to be wiser in the use of social media such as emphasizing to students to use social media as a means of syiar or da'wah because teachers also play a role in creating a learning environment that supports the positive use of technology.
